This work was part of the collective exhibition This is the girl, final presentation of the residency A.T.E.N.A (Temporary European Atelier for Artistic Navigation), residency for European women artists in Sète (FR).

Our dialog during the residency traveled on rails. Imagining each of us as a single line, everything in our collaboration came from observing from one's own side to the opposite rail, sharing the direction and respecting singularities. The installation stem from that point, each part of it is at the same time double and independent by creating necessarily a new organization of the vision based on proximity and movement.

The performance takes its name from the XXVI canto of Dante's Divine Comedy, the song of Ulysses: a eulogy perpetual instability as an inevitable measure of themselves and the world. Two bodies become single weight of an human pendulum in which the fall is transformed in marking of time. In the performance the bodies take the form of time, thus living every change. The action provides an oscillation perpendicular to the street of the city. This swing will determine the rhythm of the words that will pronounce performer reading the twenty-sixth canto.
